A native New Yorker, Peter Boggia started his training in New Orleans, LA, apprenticing under one of the most accomplished mechanics in the motorcycle industry. An unpaid apprenticeship became a paid profession and soon Peter was helping to run the shop.
Peter’s passion for motorcycles had become an obsession, then fate took over. Hurricane Katrina forced Peter back to his family and roots in New York. During his exile from New Orleans, Peter took on private clients while rebuilding his 1987 Moto Guzzi Lemans that was damaged in Katrina and transformed it into a 100 hp showpiece for his future shop.
Founded in 2008, Moto Borgotaro, through word of mouth alone, continues to service a community that hungers for personal attention and an old world sense of honor and tradition.
