1972 DUCATI 750 GT
SOLD — $60,000
One of the finest original Ducati 750GTs ever offered for sale, saved by author and contributing editor Ian Falloon over 11 years ago. This early example was produced in July of 1972, and has all of the unique parts and details specific to the earliest series GTs. Fewer than 1000 in this series were manufactured and only a fraction are known to have survived with the original gel coat paint intact.
Mr. Falloon has taken great care in the “refreshing” of this early GT with only re-plating the brightwork and rebuilding the top end. All the original OAV fasteners were re-plated and many NOS parts from Mr. Falloon’s personal collection were used to complete this spectacular GT.
