Moto Borgotaro in collaboration with Union Garage NYC put on a one-day motorcycle event in Brooklyn, NY showcasing some of the best examples of the original Italian sporting bikes of the 1970's.

Arturo Magni joined MV Agusta in 1950, and as the eventual manager of the company’s race program he had a big hand in racking up 75 world championships and winning more than 3,000 races before MV pulled the plug on its race program in 1976—two years before shuttering the company completely.
But Magni wasn’t done. He opened his own shop and began applying a proprietary treatment to customers’ MVs, and later to engines left over from the end of MV production. Hallmarks of a Magni MV include a larger, 861cc capacity engine, an MV race-style frame, a Magni dry clutch and a Magni chain-drive conversion.
When the supply of surplus engines finally expired Magni applied his formula to BMW, Honda, Moto Guzzi and Suzuki donors.
Before his death in 2015 Arturo Magni’s name graced more than 2,000 bikes—a tradition his son Giovanni carries on to this day. But given Arturo’s experience running the MV race program that saw so many wins, the Magni MVs are some of the most highly valued bikes he ever put his name on
