REWIND 2023 Sale

Single owner 750SS & interview

A personal story and interview with single owner William (Fuzz) Fainglas, who purchased his dream machine in 1979, 1 of the 88 machines that came to the US. Director Roberto Serrini sits down to document the history of this mint 1974 Ducati 750SS.

With meticulous attention to detail, Fainglas has preserved his Ducati in pristine condition, making it one of the finest surviving examples of this rare breed. As he speaks, his passion is evident — his eyes light up when recalling the first time he turned the throttle, the exhilaration of the open road, and the unmatched feeling of riding a bike with such an incredible racing pedigree.

The film captures not just the mechanical beauty of the Ducati 750SS but also the deep, emotional connection between man and machine. Through Fainglas' words, we gain insight into what it means to be a true custodian of history, someone who doesn’t just own a rare motorcycle but truly understands and appreciates its significance.

TRAVELOGUE

Coppa Roma Castellammare Adriatico

Italy Rally

I was lucky enough to participate with my friends in Rome for the 2nd Historical Re-enactment of the Coppa Roma Castellammare Adriatico. It was an incredible experience, filled with history, passion, and the thrill of driving through breathtaking landscapes. I had the privilege of joining this unforgettable ride with my Italian club, Vitesse Oblige, a group that shares my enthusiasm for motorcycles and the sheer joy of the open road.

Although the event was technically a timed rally, we didn’t concern ourselves with the competition aspect. Instead, we focused on the journey itself—soaking in the stunning scenery, enjoying the camaraderie of fellow enthusiasts, and relishing every moment behind the wheel. The roads we traveled were steeped in history, winding through picturesque towns and countryside, echoing the spirit of the original race. The atmosphere was electric, with beautifully maintained vintage motorcycles, passionate riders, and spectators who appreciated the legacy of this historic event.

From the start in Rome to the final destination on the Adriatic coast, every mile was a celebration of automotive history and friendship. It wasn’t just about speed or precision—it was about the love of driving, the shared memories, and the thrill of reliving a piece of the past… oh and I am now a member of Federazione Motociclistica Italiana- or FMI
